Hi i've just moved, and as i live in a non-cable area, I'm going to need to get a phone line put in (which I dont really want) so I can have broadband. Is BT still my only option, or do any of these new phone companies actually install a line?

As far as I know at this moment in time your only choice for a phone line is B.T.
Don`t forget to use their option 1,pay by direct debit ,sign up
TalkTalk`s service for free landline calls evenings and weekends for 12 months and 18866 for daytime calls at 1p per call. You could also look at 1899 for calls to mobiles at weekends.

Better to go with BT for exchange line rental. Only BT are forced to allow you to use their exchange line to route your calls through other service providers. Cable companies and others do not usually allow this.
