Quick Question

Hi,

I'm doing the online form at the moment and no doubt will have plenty of idiotic questions to come:o

In the first instance please would anyone be able to help with the following. Do I say I'm single or co-habiting?

We're co-habiting but don't share a bank account and we have no financial obligations together.

Do I mention him, or keep him out of the equation? I'm worried in case my BR impacts him, to be honest.

Any help would be great!:)

LOL. Thanks for the reassurance, I'm relieved. I think.:D

Next stupid question. Let's say this thread drops off the front page but I have an additional question later on today.

If I post at the end of the thread will this Bump my thread back to page 1? (To save having to start a new one)
I tried this with a thread I did a few days ago, but it didn't work, so just wanted to ask how I go about recycling an old thread!

Every time you post on a thread, it bumps it back up. But the board is incredibly busy at the moment, and often threads get a bit lost so nothing wrong with giving it an additional 'bump' post to get more responses.

Yep, the thread with the most recent post in it will be listed at the top of the forum. Don't worry though - generally a thread won't drop off the bottom until it's been answered properly, as everyone here is so helpful.

You'll also find that even if it does, the regulars (I do, as well) check pages from at least a week or so ago too so if there's an unanswered question, it will be picked up :)

    Next stupid question.

I'm right in thinking my debts are unsecured, aren't I? I owe the bank for a loan and overdraft and Mastercard.
I also have a Student Loan - I think I got that pre 2004 but can't remember and nor can I find any paperwork pertaining to this!

Without having to ring them does anyone know how I could find out? Telepathy perhaps?

    *feels absolutely USELESS*

If they are secured on anything you would know about it. Bank overdrafts and credit cards are unsecured debts (unless you gave them a security when you took them out) but that would be very unusual indeed.

Student Loans are not covered by bankruptcies though so that would remain payable after you went bankrupt.
