in Water bills
Hi,
at Uni we are all in charge of a bill.
Just found the water bill, which I'm not in charge of and hadn't realised had even come through.
It is payable on April 1st --- tomorrow!!
The bill for the year is £226.38, which seems very reasonable to me between 5 of us.
However, I would rather pay this in installments rather than all at once. I tried to phone Thames Water, but they do not want to speak to me as I'm not mentioned on the bill. My friend is going to phone them later, but do you think they will allow us to pay in installments when it is due tomorrow?

Simple answer is Yes.
Give them a call they will set you on a payment plan over 8 month normaly,You can try to push them upto 10 months.
If you call tommorow and say you want to pay on the 1st of the month your payment plan will start on the 01.05.2009.
You don't normaly need to be named on the water account to setup a payment paln on it.
They wont be able to confirm amounts or discuss any finantial details of the account but can still setup the payment plan and send out a letter to confirm the amounts and dates.
It depends on the agent you get through to.Helping people lower there water usage and water bills
