my sister gets married 11 weeks be me and she got new look ivory shoes for £12 and then got some ompany to add bling to them up the heel for £12 to go with her bridesmaids and the bits on her dress. will ry and find out where and post on MSE.
  • That's great Kelda, definitely let me know, because i am thinking of just get the bridesmaids plain burgundy peep toes and then could get that done, or we could do it ourselves with stick on diamantes!! Tiger x

  • Well, I must sayIam absolutely overjoyed today. My shoes that I won for £2.50 on Ebay have arrived and I absolutely love them. Here they are
    !BQsHstgBGk~$(KGrHgoH-CUEjlLlvS+VBJ6NptO5Wg~~_1.JPG

And I was in New Look the other day and they have sequin slingbacks and childs shoes aswell which will be absolutely perfect for my bridesmaids.

My necklace and earrings have arrived aswell. The choker was £7 and the earrings £4.50 so I have recieved all my accessories for under £20. They are both two rows of diamantes and the earrings are a drop style. They are going to bling up my dress beautifully. The only thing about my shoes is that they are a little bit big at the back so do I just get a heel grip for them or does anyone else know of anything else I can use.

    Yay Yay YAy for bargains!!!

I have been doing lots of surveys recently for Lightspeed and have cashed in my points for paypal and have enough to get the mens ties so am going to get them as soon as the money goes in my account. Tiger x

Wow! Those shoes are fab! I received my shoes the other day, which I love (have got them on as I type so my feet get used to them, lol!). The only thing is that although they are 'ivory' when I've held up the ivory and champagne fabric swatches, they are definately more champagne. Do you think this will matter if I go for the ivory colour dress? I do love them and would hate to have to get different ones!!!

Would love to see a pic of your necklace and earrings, if you don't mind!!!

    xxxx
  • HI Nat. TBH If your dress is going to be long I don't think it will matter. I was a bit worried that the grey bow on the front of my shoes won't go with my light ivory dress but will probably spend most of the day standing up anyway so I don't think you will see the shoes that much!

    This is the necklace

I've been looking at my shoes more and more and i think they are more champagne than ivory which is worrying me because i don't want a champagne dress but i love my shoes!

I think I'm just going to keep mine, no-one will really see them and I love them so much I couldn't bare to send them back!!!! I thought about getting a champagne dress but I don't think that it will go with the colour of the bridesmaids dresses :(

  • I thought about a champagne dress aswell but not too sure if it will be too dark!
Thanks JayJay and Nat the jewellery is ridiculously sparkly the pics don't do it justice really. I'm pleased I'm not getting crystals on the dress now because the jewellery and my shoes will set it off perfectly.
If you love the shoes just keep them lol!!

How is everyne else getting on with the preperations?
