    Hi everyone ,

    Have managed to get to number 50 on my 101 in 1001 list - its much harder than I thought to get it together.
    Quiet day here, did a meditation class with the oldies this afternoon which was very relaxing and free;)

    Hugs to all those having crappy days, Andan glad you got a lovely cheque:j just arrived at the right time for you as know you were worrying about cash flow, nice to know you will be earning extra too. Not heard about my payrise yet this year but not expecting much:rolleyes:

    Used a £5 Morrisons petrol voucher for some groceries tonight;
    Won £20 in the office 'guess the hidden football team competition';
    Went into my bank to change my bank account and I now have a chequbook again for the first time in 3 years (which is really handy for paying my factor's bills as they don't accept any other form of payment);
    Kept my £10 HMV valued opinions voucher for another time;
    Have a mortgage appointment tomorrow to fix for another few years (saving me about £180 a month)...................

    And the FOS have advised that they are fast-tracking a decision on a PPI claim, ironically at a time my money situation is better than it has been in years. I submitted my claim to them over a year ago so the things they have had to consider have changed. Oh well...........
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Uh Oh,

    Still distracted. Left house at 7 am and came back at 7 pm and only productive thing I did in between was 5 hours work, what happened to the rest 7h? :eek: Anyway part of the answer is that it took me 3 hours to get to work this morning without a car.

    Soooo

    NOT DFW things for today:

    - First bus didn't buy daily pass so spent unnecessary £2.50
    - Spent £10 on taxi as missed connection bus
    - Bought breakfast and lunch for work (too headachy yesterday, too early lift off this morning to sort anything out)
    - Booked hire car online
    - Went to MnS to buy naughty things to eat and drink this evening
    - Booked taxi from home to nursery for tomorrow morning, will then take bus from there to work
    - Got stucked at hire car company so needed to get nursery to bring DD to my neighbour, need to pay milage to nursery and bought bottle of wine for neighbour as thank you
    - Agreed the garage to go ahead with reparing my car and the bill estimate is approximately £550.-, it is less that I would have to pay for reasonable car so no choice really

    DFW things for today:

    - Finally did buy daily bus pass and did get full use out of it
    - Hire car cancelled due to no availability, saved one day rental fee
    - Forgot I was due to be in internal training on lunch time so got free pizza, today's lunch went to fridge ready for tomorrow
    - Paid my naughty things with Curly vouchers
    - Done scratchies & Curly quizzes
    - Got my phone charger PAT tested for free at work

    I am not having a good life at the moment...goes off to eat yummy MnS food with some strong sherry.

    Wow - well done you, you don't waste time!

    Not too bad moneywise today..
    1) LSD, just 77p
    2) Recieved my on-line Tesco order from yesterday. I ordered 4 shampoos reduced to 56p but sent them back with the driver as they were substituted for ones that were about £2.50. After he went I realised only one of them was actually substituted and I had actually sent him off with three utter bargains. :mad: :mad: I'm so mad with myself, and I know it's not worth worrying about but I feel like I just cost myself about £6 or £7 quid in the long run.
    3) Shop came to less than £50 for 4 for the week.
    4) Packed lunch at work
    5) Used up everything dying in my fridge to make a spicy stew for dinner.
    6) B wanted to take in some Easter Eggs for her friends tomorrow cos she breaks up, but we made them all ginger biccies instead - far cheaper!
    7) Scratch x 10p

    Night all,
    L x
