Wish I had been up as early as you SM- instead I slept in and have spent all morning catching up with myself! Everything seemed to be wrong this morning- the bread I put in the back of the cupboard for my breakfast and to make a sandwich was found by Oh last night after football and he drank all the milk which meant BSD for me (big spend day) as I had to buy breakfast and lunch on the run. Will have to find a better hiding place for my food- perhaps the ironing pile, he never looks there!

    So today I have/will
    • daily scratch- 20p woohoo!
    • check banking/ CCs- doesn't make for good reading this week
    • try and get my assignment started that is due for Friday
    • try and not spend anymore money
    • try and stay off MSE and do some work

Still haven't heard back from the org where I have an interview - will they be able to re-arrange my interview?

They can't re-arrange the interview. They have said they will contact me if they can't appoint but they have a strong field of candidates.

Ok - so I need to think about why this is a good thing:
    • the travel would have been horrendous
    • any extra money I would have got would have gone on petrol and car maintenance
    • the job sounded quite strange - part job-share part?
    • I will have some me time and won't have to worry about preparing for an interview while working on my assignment.
    • My CV is good enough to get an interview at this higher level.
    • Getting the qualification I am working on will help me further.
    So, back to the assignment.

    waving to you all.

    Hello all! I'm back!
Last week was a flipping nightmare with work - all over Europe with no sleep and no time.
Never mind - back to reality today and back to MSE ways.

    Today I have /will....
    • had brekkie at home
    • brought lunch to work
    • heating completely off - may put it on for an hour later tonight if it's cold
    • had false nails removed - cost £10 but it costs £18 a time to have them done and I do it every 2-3 weeks:eek:
    • Walk dog for free exercise - one done, 2 to go
    • go to SW WI for "free" as I paid for a countdown course a few weeks ago
    • have leftovers from yesterday for tea
    • start meal plan/shopping list for next week
    • pay electric bill - booo!!! £100 for the quarter so I guess it could be worse
    • check banks
    • do work expenses
    • do some work!
    • Send cheque to DJ for wedding
    • ring uni about the interview I have for teacher training!
    • Got books from library for interview swotting up
    That's all for today....

    Have a good one!

SM, wow that really is early!!

Mille how ridiculously annoying for you and what a waste of time and energy. On a positive note, at least they are now coming up with ideas.

Urg, sorry about the job interview, hopefully something will come along soon

:j:jI am so happy today i could jump and dance about:beer::j:j Have been a bit concerned about money recently, despite my business picking up. However today i got a cheque from work, i knew we would be getting some money due to working an extra 45mins a day but was shocked to see how much i have been paid. A nice big fat cheque of £245, so have got a nice bonus.:j:j Plus i have got my new contract for next year and have been given a payrise of an extra 75p an hour, which is great for me, now my money is looking much more realistic:j:j

Planning on a fairly quiet rest of day, as i have no plans for this evening, so a chance to chill a bit.

    Today's list:
-Big fat cheque which will pay for car insurance for the year
    -Nice payrise for me!!
-Cycled to work so no petrol used plus free exercise, body aching though!!
    -Done scratch cards
-Received letter regarding joining local swimming pool means i can go swimming four times a week for only £10 a month, so am pleased with that.

-Luch will be extra meal i made yesterday, or pancakes, and extra meal for tea
-Have tried to reschedule mystery shops for Thurs as i will be in that area on thurs now instead of doubling up on myself.
-Have picked up another mystery shops
-Mystery shop have received my bank statements so payment should go through now
    -Posted free dvds back
    -No heating on
-Have posted on O.U forum, if you post on there a few times you get an extra 3%!!

    -Will do next O.U activity
    -Read five pages of O.U
-Sort out folders for area Inco coming in tomorrow
-Have read business emails, will check optimisation and free index
    -Post business back on gumtree

    -Check online banking
    -Move money around as appropriate

-Sort out massage equipment for tomorrow
    -Continue using up beauty products
    -Read fave threads
    -check freecycle
    -Check freebie section
    -Update blog
    -Review 101 goals

No further plans for the day! Have a great day everyone and catch up with you all later.
