I'm sick of getting this message when Internet Explorer or another program crashes. It asks me to tell Microsoft about the problem. I never send an error report to Microsoft - they must be getting millions of these reports every day and I can't imagine that they will look at mine. Is there any way I can stop this message from appearing in the first place?
Here's your fix for WinXP >>
Make sure you Back up your Registry first!!! For really good freeware for backing up your registry:
Google: 'ERUNT' (No affiliation whatsoever. Just a tip)
Objective: [Disable error reporting on program crash]
Start > Run > Type in: REGEDIT
Click OK >
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting.
Edit the following value:
Value Name: DoReport
Value: 0 to disable the error report prompt.
Close Registry Editor.
