Funnily enough I'm not forgetting to add anything. I was pretty shocked when I was dismissed for it. I just reckon management were looking for something to get rid of me on. If not this, something else.Seems a bit harsh sacking someone for a wet carpet. Is there something you are forgetting to add ?

Anyway, reporting it 15 minutes later is hardly ignoring it. Even if it is a H&S matter, they'd have to prove you weren't meeting H&S requirements (assuming they had actually properly trained you in the first place) by not reporting it and I doubt they could if you actually did, a mere 15 mins later.
