    Debt at highest (November 2005) = £35,856

    Debt currently (August 2006) = £20,790
    &More £1,530, Egg £6,800, HSBC £3,760, Egg Loan £8,700

    Interim goal = £23,400 (Target: February 2006, Missed but acheived May 2006)
    2nd Interim Goal = £15,000, Target October 2006
    Debt Free Date = February 2008 BUT I'M GOING TO BE TRYING FOR SOONER!!! :p

    I had to scour all the previous posts on this forum as I clearly remember doing the free house valuation thing and knew exactly what you were referring to. Sooooo.... here it is! :D

    I guess this site only works in some areas of the country. Its average valuation of my house was about 180 thousand over what similar houses round here are going for, if only....

    I tend to use Nethouseprices for historical information. All these sites are subject to unusual data affecting predictions etc. for instance in my road where house prices are around the £250,000 stamp duty point the average recent house price is shown much lower due to one of my neighbours selling their house to their daughter for £20,000. Any site that lets you drill down to the actual prices houses sell for are most useful.

    For map information I tend to have a copy of Autoroute open to jump to, along with Google maps. Google maps is not completely up to date but it can often give a good idea of the house and the surrounding area particularly in built up areas where the resolution is often higher. Being able to see actual photographic images of the area is really useful. Microsoft have a similar satellite maping solution.
