Caught 3 house mice with traps last week!!, set both traps again and have now been sitting in the loft for the last 4 days without being triggered, maybe I got em all........or have they become wise to the traps?0

Have farmland at back, compost heap down there, 2 sheds, then house. Feral cats slink along paddock edges but don't do the job.
This is the one:

-as used by professional outfit in our village. I'd tried everything, spent just as much on many and various failures, plus the knowledge that I was not getting anywhere.
I am so grateful to have this, see and know it works. Goes a long way; wipe-out effective; peace of mind.
Cost less, although still expensive, via his company's purchasing power - equally sworn by among friends with whom I've shared a 20kg bag - way more than half of my 10kg left over 2 years on. I keep it in a locked crate, wear rubber gloves when serving up, wash hands after. I may refill the little dishes once, rarely twice - NEVER 3 times.
I totally recommend this, notwithstanding any 'moral' questions. Do you want vermin or not?CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Mice really don't like the smell of peppermint so until you get them, put some cotton wool soaked in peppermint oil where you really don't want them to be.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Chocolate worked well for me.
A slice of Mars bar is my favorite, multi sweet flavour and it melts and stick to the trap, chew that of you vermin.
Problem with getting rid of rats and mice is 2 stage, 1st you get rid of 'em, then you fix the reason they came in the 1st place.;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Cheese is the one thing that's never resulted in a mouse being caught.0

I guess any sort of food should attract them really but I shall give the chocolate a go. The traps I got (listed a few pages back from amazon) are a strange type, there not the usual push down trigger but a push up to set the trap off, so what I've been doing is jamming the peanut butter well underneath the trigger so the mice have to really stick there noses under the trigger and hopefully in the process push the trigger up enough to set it off!.
Regarding the 2nd stage of the mice problem will be the hardest as at the moment I dint have a clue how they found there way up into the loft0
