I've just opened the kitchen cupboard under the sink, and there's a mouse sitting on top of the bin.
It jumped down and ran to the back of the cupboard.
I know i've seen a mousetrap somewhere, i think it might be out in the garage but it's a bit late to go searching now.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Maybe it came in from the garden where the pipe for the drain goes out.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Rats have been getting into my my neighbours house through a broken vent and have subsequently made their way into my kitchen through a missing/broken brick in the wall
I need to fill the hole to prevent them getting back in so I am looking for advice on the best thing to fill the hole with? I have heard glass mixed with concrete works well? The hole is about the size of half a standard brick.
The next problem is that the hole is not very accessible as it is in the corner of the kitchen under the work surfaces, and I cant reach it, I would need someone with abnormally long arms or some form of litter picker extension thing.
Any advice on how to reach and fill this without ripping my kitchen out??
council have been out and placed poisen and advised neighbours etc.
Thanks in advance0 -
Can you access the hole more easily from your neighbours side?0

Hi,
when we moved into our house it was clear that the place had suffered a serious infestation when the previous occupiers lived there. We've refurbished the place and tried to make it much less friendly for mice but today my partner heard scuffling between the ground floor ceiling and upstairs floorboards. Not sure what we can do. There's traps around the house, and poison behind the plinths in the kitchen and in the loft. Any further suggestions welcome!

Just bought one of them there electronic mice repellers. See if that does any good.0

Walk round the exterior of the house and carefully check for possible entrances e.g. where pipes enter the house, under door frames etc.0

It's a terraced house though, and a wood-frame so mice are going to be a constant risk. I'm hoping the high frequency repeller does something...0
