not guilty of owning a blog, also not guilty of following the blog of anyone on here - I'm afraid I find them nigh on impossible to read

I hate the bottom up approach of the posts on them, and the software I tried that stores your faves, notifies when any have been updated, and then turns them around for reading - which is why I tried it - drove me almost as far up the wall

nyk - you made gloop then did you? How are you getting on with it? Mine does not seem to be going down, I will be using it for the next 10 years at this rate :rotfl:

Mine looks good enough to eat as it's like pink blancmange :D If I use a tablespoonfull diluted for each greasy wash, I should have enough to last umm.... a very long time. :rotfl:

Gosh, that looks like a good idea! I will have to ask my BF if he could help me build one. Will we be too late in the season now? I really am a newbie at gardening, having moved from piller to post all my life, I havent bothered much? This move, I am determined to make my home, and enjoy the land that comes with the rent!. Lets face it, if I am renting the land I ought to make it work for me.

Never too late to get planting, I only planted the last of my potatoes last week when starting my potato well and they were just spuds from Aldi that had started sprouting in the bag. :)

In our house, it would last about a week! :rotfl:

ChaMichelle, I hope you can see the positive side of everything that unfolds and can make the ultimate decision that will make you happiest. I just don't understand this modern way of thinking, sorry, in my little world there is no stigma attached to being a housekeeper, homemaker and/or fulltime mum, especially if there's a partner equally trying their best to provide for their family. Each role IS a fulltime job and looking after your own family, regardless of how that family is made up, is probably the most important thing you will ever do in your entire life. Maintaining health and sanity in order to succeed in that role is far more important that earning capacity IMHO. Good luck with your decision, listen to your own heart/mind/soul and give your children the life YOU think they deserve rather than make their mum fell ill and sad. Sending virtual hug for you :)

SFT - Still keeping the fingers crossed for you - country living is going to be YOURS from this weekend, I can feel it in the air. :D

SM - See you soon, bet you can't wait to get stuck into that pile of decking. :rotfl:

Good morning, I guess everyone went to bed early and then nobody's checked online this morning, so I have nobody to say hello to, this morning. :rotfl:

Sunny and warm here, second load washing now out. Hope everyone has a good frugalday. :) My neighbour's hen hatched her eggs yesterday, so Frugaldomland has increased it's poultry population again. :D

Yep, I had an early night last night -- 10:30pm instead of my normal 'turned midnight'

I'm here. Good morning, nyk. Good morning all!

Blue skies and sunshine here this morning. Feels good.

We took a day off yesterday. I sat in my friend's conservatory doing my knitting while DH helped her husband with the gardening. Not only did they feed us, but they insisted on giving DH £50 for his help. How kind is that.

I have to be productive today so tell me off if you see me on here later.

Cha michelle and others suffering from depression :grouphug: there is light at the end of the tunnel and counselling really helps (well it did for me) although my counsellor did urge me not to leave my job until my head was in a better place...............maybe sick leave until you feel sure you are making the final decision might be a better way to go...everyones different though

SFT shame about more delays but only a few more days

Shaz, I have only bought 2 lots of seed potatoes this year, all the others are normal potatoes allowed to go to seed. If potatoes get missed during picking then they just grow into more potatoes, as far as I'm aware. I'd leave them out and see if they chit - waste not, want not. :)

CW, or anyone else who was asking about prices and country cottages, I just spotted this and it looks gorgeous.

Not at all sure about that place Nyk..... bedroom 3 is tiny (to what I'm used to!), and wouldn't even take my dining table and chairs!! In fact, my dining "suite" is likely to cause problems in most properties, as I wouldn't put it in a kitchen/diner but it needs a good space to be able to get around it. My dining room here (which is only just big enough for it when we seat 8) is 8'6x10'8 ish, and my 4th bedroom (which is the smallest) is roughly 10'x9' - and who wants a utility room at the other end of the property to the kitchen

It does look pretty on the outside though :D

    Morning everyone.

Awfully busy here today - the kids are with me, and DS1 is potty training. He took the initiative himself to try at the weekend and it is going well. No accidents so far today. Amazing what a bit of bribery with some stickers can do. Will save me a fortune in nappies if he manages it, so i am pleased he thought of it.

Just means we can't go very far at the moment, but we are happily doing jigsaws and playing with the toys at home. He sat for ages with an icing pen out of a biscuit kit decorating a rich tea biscuit before he ate it. DS2 ate his in about 2 seconds and then was eyeing up the other one

Thanks again for all your support here re:depression. Interestingly it is teachers mental health week, so there was quite a bit of info on it on the teachers TV website so that was interesting. About a 1/3 of teachers go through this which is terrible. Only about 10% in the general population.

Best go and think what i can cook for the kids for lunch. Something i can just shove in the oven i think so i can supervise DS1.

    See you all later x
