    Hi guys!hello.gif
    How's everyone this morning?
Thank you very much for the shout outs and hugs, guys.angel-smiley-002.gif Anyone would think you missed me!:D It helps such a lot when you know that someone, somewhere, is thinking of you and I missed you all too.grouphug.gif
Before I go on, I just wanted to send a Tiffy welcome1.gif to dicky dunock (dd) - thanks for reading dd and please feel free to post should you want to do so - everyone is welcome here hun.sLo_hug2.gif
    Right - 'scuze me for a moment, folks.....soapbox.gif.....there, that's better - now I'm ready.biggrin.gif
    Tiffy Tip...
I just wanted to remind everyone that the world stops spinning from this Thursday through to next Tuesday, due to the two bank holidays.rolleyes.gif Remember guys, this is one of those bank holidays that affects the Friday too.
With this in mind, please check and make sure you have got enough meds at home, whatever they're for, to get you through the duration.wink.gif
Don't say I didn't warn you because if you run out of meds, you get a visit from Aunty Tiff and her blowpipe and darts!1.gif So please go ahead and get yourselves an appointment at your vets/gp, and make sure that everything's up-to-date. Good luck with that one - it's like trying to book an audience with the Pope!
I've got to book one for myself actually, though I'm not holding out much hope of any help...

It's also probably worth saying that this applies to anything you need to do by Friday - you'll have to do it by Thursday instead!panic.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gif
Okay - I'm getting down now.
Here's wishing our lovely sazzy good luck with her counselling tonight. I'll be thinking of him, er, I mean you, hunnie!sLo_hug2.gif
And I hope our lovely cara has a good session with her counselling too.sLo_hug2.gif
I'll try and get back with some individual replies later...depends on whether I can find the catnip!smiley_bagpuss.gifbiggrin.gif Thinking of you all.
    Be kind to yourself guys.sLo_hug2.gif

    Good morning lovelies :hello:

Katie hun thanks for the tip re giant mug - but I'm already a giant mug:D:rolleyes::D :rotfl: You are a marvel with the cleaning - any chance you'd like to do mine?;)

Hi Rosie, thanks for thinking of me hun - yes my counselling appointment is tonight. Then I have a two week break from it coz of Easter.... always have mixed feelings when I have a break from counselling - on one hand it means I don't have mammonth trek home afterwards (on counselling nights I don't get home till 9.30pm), but on the other obviously it's a break in continuity and sometimes the break happens at a convenient point and other times not. But I'm feeling quite resilient this week, so hopefully I should be ok.

Good luck with your appointment today La-Cara. Gem let us know how the scan went xx Beth - sorry you're having a tough time of it. With me it always feels like all the carp happens at once. And depression is blind in the sense that it is no respecter of people with loving families, or nice homes etc. If it helps to have a bit of a rant on here feel free, I know it helps me!

I have a really annoying stye thing on my left eye. I keep wanting to rub it coz it's sore but I know I shouldn't lol.

Anyway. Best get on with some work:rolleyes:

Have a lovely day everyone

    Much love to all,
    Sazzy xxxxxxxxx

You are right. I keep telling myself that I am luckier than most - we don't have debt problems (even though we're not rolling in it either!) and I have a lovely family and understanding hubby. I almost feel guilty for having depression. My mum once said "what have you got to be depressed about?" and I just don't know the answer.

I felt a bit self indulgent in my last post but it does help to get it off your chest. When you have a string of different things going wrong in your life it does make you wary and wonder what's next.

Have a good day everyone and enjoy the sunshine if you have it.

Beth this makes me I remember being moved to tears once by Melinda Messenger as she described the guilt she felt at having depression. On the face of it she had 'everything' - a great career, beautiful home, loving husband and family. People would say to her, "what have you got to be depressed about?"

Many years ago, when I was feeling utterly desperate, my mother said to me, "young people don't get depressed". Thing is, I know she meant well, but the guilt I felt stalked me for many years. Depression is something that can affect anyone. It's neither something we should feel guilty about, nor feel the need to justify. After all, we wouldn't feel guilty about having a broken leg, would we? Just my thoughts anyway x
