Advice needed - new to selling on Ebay

If you send to any other address than the dodgy sounding one on PP, you will NOT be covered by PP.
Also, if you still have the tickets, write down all the identifying numbers on them that you can..any barcode numbers etc..if the buyer claims you have sent an empty envelope that he signed for,you will still lose your money,as PP will refund him.
If he does go down that route, you can then email him saying you have all the ID numbers and will call the venue to cancel these tickets as they are now lost!! He wont like that!TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0 -
You don't know what the dispatch (paypal) address is until the buyer has paid you. Any addresses you see before payment are irrelevant. The buyer can put whatever address they like when they pay.
In fact I'd go so far as to say... surely an ebay invoice makes no reference to (extracts no info from) the buyer's paypal account, full stop.
Worry about the address WHEN YOU GET PAID!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Ok so am back again !
My auction ended last Sunday (29th March), I received an email from the buyer on 30th March saying he would pay me on Friday (I hadn't stipulated a date in my advert so had to accept this) and since then - nothing other than an invoice for £15.45 from Ebay for goods that I haven't sold.
How do I go about opening a non paying buyer dispute please (does this then mean I don't have to pay Ebay?) and do I have to notify the buyer that I am re-listing or can I just go ahead and do so, bearing in mind he hasn't contacted me again?
Sorry to sound so dim0 -
I contacted my buyer giving him 24 hours to reply (8 days after auction ended) asking him if he still intended to purchase the tickets. I have had no response so managed to find out how to open a NPB dispute and hopefully will then be able to re-list in 7 days time.
This is so annoying and has really put me off being an Ebay seller . Think I'll stick to buying in future x0 -
Might be worth setting your seller preferences as tightly as possible when you re-list them to reduce the number of time-wasters.0

Thanks Bluebell - what would you suggest?0

Start from here to set buyer requirements to exclude overseas bidders or bidders with NPB strikes etc. For tickets I might even be tempted to block those bidders who don't have a card registered with ebay as that is another level of protection.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
