Well I got 10 minutes in, then boyfriend arrived home from college, then friend from home rang, so have only just finished the bottles in the bathroom. Hopefully will get bedroom finished before dinner.
Probably won't get on again tonight, so sweet dreams to all flyladies and families, see you all in the morning

Hi, this is not really flying but we had a call from Scottish Power. We are currently with Npower. SP seems much cheaper than N, even taking into account the price drops. DH is unhappy as I said yes and he was working on his truck, but I made sure what the cooling off period was so we don't have to go ahead. He keeps trying to come up with reasons not to switch, even saying he doesn't like the fact that we are monthly DD, but to me this seems better as we won't get a big bill again like last month!

Anyway, I've told him we don't have to swap if he doesn't want to but he can't deny that it's a heck of a lot cheaper! I think he just doesn't like it cos he thinks I made the decision! I didn't really, it was just a provisional yes til I'd seen him and I've told him that about 5 times but he's being a baby!

sexymouse, sorry to hear that. Would it be worthwhile for when you're not in paid work volunteering to just get the constant experience? I know a few who've benefitted from that before, 1 who did it as she was aware a teacher was expecting and knew they would be looking for cover.
FFP hope your DH is feeling better soon. Someone near me who's only in his early 40s has had a suspected stroke, he's waiting for results from a scan, very scary!
carol22/rose, my partner thinks some sort of magic happens after he's used his clothes that turn them from a pile of smell on the floor to clean clothes in his wardrobe/drawers too.....I wish!
rosepink ***TUTS LOUDLY*** SWITCH ONLINE YOU GET CASHBACK! Oh and give him a duff from me for being a PITA, my DP doesn't touch the bills so I don't have that problem.

ASSIGNMENT GONE! Did my best, started to get frustrated over some tiddly little low mark questions so did my best and set myself deadline of whatever wasn't done by 5pm wasn't going to be! I need to get started on the next book, these assignments are very frequent, 2 more in the next 3 weeks so I've got to just draw the line at some point with them.

    Tonight I need to

Go with DP to install PA system into conference room
Make sure EVERYTHING is sorted for in the morning - uniforms, my clothes, DP/DS1s packed lunch etc
Find something to wear to sort out, did want new but haven't had time
Clean my boots or shoes depending which I am wearing
Set up printer to print everything I need off
Put all the files I need for presentation etc onto a disc.......need to find one of them USB things
    Shower me and bath children
    Feed everyone
Get clean/dry laundry in from line
Fill DW, start, empty when done
Decide with DP what we're doing about filling caravan for hols as he's decided to go away Sunday racing....grrrr...**calm**

I might even see if I can do todays list :o
One day I might be more organised...........

Hugs to everyone in need - especially Sexymouse, must be frustrating but at least they are willing to give you decent feedback., and FFP

Still lots of issues with work and I am trying very, very hard not to let it get to me. Tense shoulders makes my trapped nerve worse though, so up half the night with numb hands or pins and needles.

I got carried away by the sunshine this morning and invited some of DS1s friends (and mums) over for tea on Friday, it is his birthday tomorrow. Fingers crossed the weather stays ok as we have borrowed a bouncy castle. Mild panic that downstairs has to be clear for Friday, and I am working tomorrow.

Anyway, onwards and upwards and all that. HHC 17.45-18.15 anyone?

I have had a day off work today cos I had a hair appointment - £5 at the college, full head colour 2 x other colours highlights, cut and blow dry so very MSE.

I have done zero flying except 1 x WM and hang out to dry. I'd prepped toights meal last night as I didn't know how much time I'd have.

I spent the afternoon tearing round the city with DD2 and DS doing various jobs and now I am having a cuppa in peace whle DS takes the pooch for a walk. OH has rung and he sounds really tired so at least that's one job he won't have to do when he gets in. (I do walk Kelso now and then but he pulls really badly and I'm not always up to the job jointwise)

Sorry to hear about the job SM - there's a really great one out there just waiting or you.

OH had another interview for a permanent job yesterday so we are waiting to hear if he has a 2nd to go to.

HUgs to all who need them (especially your OH witchypoo - been there done that)
