hollyh oh bless you, I've had similar frustrations before
sexymouse just imagine us all behind you, actually no because you'll probably end up laughing at them :rotfl:
LL thank you for my present, pleased I made you laugh, I was serious, hormones = dangerous!
Dusty sorry another got her days mixed up, hope DS2 had a lovely day!
soappie well done on getting that done, just the reason we wanted DP on payroll instead of self employed!
toochoosey my 2 like fruit chopped in jelly which helps get some fruit in them - I sometimes use canned when I forget to go get fresh, raisins, cereal bars might keep her going better than biscuit ones, a salad with wraps would help fill her up (tortillas are really cheap to make, can do smaller sizes for kids) likewise with pita breads, pasties/bakes/rolls, samosas. I am sure if you type packed+lunch (with the plus sign to search for both) there is loads of threads full of ideas on this board. I think part of the problem is when they have lunch, mine have always eaten by 12.15pm which is much earlier than I do at home and they are quite rushed (or want to rush to go out and play). You could try having snack ready for when she gets home, my friend takes her son fruit to the gate of school as he's in the infants and by the time juniors comes out he's moaning wanting food.
Jo and toots hope you both have a lovely time tomorrow
Mudbath I'll join you with a pint of Caffreys, John Smiths smooth at a push :D we can lower the tone together, or wine in a mug a la caravan when we run out of beakers...:o

Another big chunk of assignment and conference planning done, I've unfortunately had to tell little M's Mam I can't take him tomorrow as I seriously don't have the time but she understands.

Have just threw DS2 some uniform in the TD, totally forgot to check we had enough done :o must get him some more tshirts for school as he sometimes puts one on and gets it mucky before school so using 2 in a day!

    Right, I'm tired, sleep time......night all x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

Hello all, have sort of been doing some flying but mainly off list. Wifey and I have been sorting stuff out and are halfway through reorganising a spare room. If we can crack on tomorrow it will mean I will have a whole load of stuff to put on Ebay and will be able to hoover the landing as well ! The next room will then be the study which has been another store room the past year or so. In the meantime the lounge, dining room, kitchen and bathrooms/ toilets have had a quick wipe and hoover and are still presentable. :D

I picked up a bargain kitchen trolley from Argos with our nectar points which has led to a reorganisation of the kitchen. The saucepans are now hanging up and I have some cupboard space for the bread, cake and biscuit making supplies. I have also bought 2 (whoops:eek: ) Kenwood Chefs (A701) from ebay. I will put them and the accessories together- work out which is best and then put the other back on. We have a spare bowl from somewhere so that will help complete a set once I have got a whisk etc. Wifey was not impressed and I may have to resort to buying her a ring to keep the peace lol ;)

On the job situation things are begining to move and I am hoping to hear from the union tomorrow so fingers crossed for some good news. I am finding being in this limbo very hard and desperately want to move on. We also have parents evening tomorrow for the monsters which I am not looking forward to - not that the boys are having problems but that the staff at the school know me and are probably wondering what is going on and why I am around so much- it's still hard to talk about it all.

Will try and catch up on the thread now so apologies to one and all that I haven't commented on everything. From the quick skimming earlier this week I can say good luck with the walking Rosepink and naughty Tag for recording OH's snoring (although it did make me laugh when I read that). Hope everything is going as well as it can be Dusty and that you are feeling okay Toots. Good luck Sexymouse and to anyone else who needs it. Welcome to the newbies. Hugs and positive vibes to all that need them.

rachel where is the new house - pm me if you dont want to say on the thread - i am being nosey - sorry!!!

the house is in Ballingry its on old mining village in fife. really deprived but the views from the house are loveley. the good thing is its on the edge of the village next to the (unmanned whats the point) police station so if i go left i get the school and co-op if i go right i get the pub the countryside.

the nearest supermarket is 11 miles away unless you count the big co op in lochgelly 6 miles away but who can afford to shop there. also the stock cars (my new bestest hobby) is 9 miles away in cowdenbeath
