Evening everyone
Seems like there has been lots of flying going on today, well done to everyone
Sexy ~positive interview~ vibes for tomorrow.
Soappie glad you got the return in on time, I would have appealed against any fine if the system had refused to play ball.toottifrootti wrote: »toochoosey the dot to dot is AnW's Mum's way of tackling her house - she says its like a bombsite (it is but I am getting there) but personally i dont believe her - but she is treating areas or hotspots as another'dot' and she clears and cleans them and tries hard to keep them tidy and then moves on to another 'dot' - trying to join them up so that she eventually gets a tidy room and a tidy house - hope that makes sense!
What Toots said /\ /\ /\ /\It's a bit of a scatter gun approach but it's working for me. DH and I were never the tidiest of people always preferring to be out doing things with Miss A & W and spending time together. When he died I did nothing round here for months literally so it just got worse and worse. So finally I am getting a grip and sorting it all out again. I know it won't happen overnight but then it didn't appear overnight. I break it down into chunks and don't necessarily aim to complete a whole room in one go as it would be too overwhelming to attempt. And I am not sorting it to the exclusion of everything else. I still chat to my friends on the phone or go out during the day if I want to.
The key for me is keep those bits I have done tidy while I move onto the next one.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Sorry for short off topic, but I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for wishing me luck - I'm sure the interview won't seem half as bad knowing that you're all cheering me on. Will be doing my Nan's shopping after, so should be back online around 2ish tomorrow and will do some flying then - think I'll spend the morning making sure I get there early in case of traffic etc and learning my answers. The joke was this one:
A pretty young woman went into a department store to buy some fabric to make herself a new dress. She asked the male assistant how much the fabric cost. He smiled and said that it cost a kiss per yard. She ordered 10 yards. The salesman cut up the fabric and hung the bag in the air, eagerly awaiting his payment. The young woman smiled and pointing to the old man beside her, said "Grandpa will pay the bill".
Off to look up what APP is now (ETA I've just found out it stands for Assessing Pupils Progress - think I have some examples of this) - I know the other things that you put down grateful, but not this one. Yes it is a teaching interview - Year 5 maternity cover.
