I live a couple miles away from Longleat
Don't worry about driving your car through. There are staff in 4x4s sat observing in each animal enclosure - you just sound your horn for attention and stay in the car. Not sure if the monkeys enclosure is open again, has been shut for a couple of years due to monkey herpes or something! The maze and boat don't cost any extra. It's always best to do the boat early on in the day as the queues are always huge as the day goes on. We usually start with the boats, then do the other more central bits then do the safari park last
