ISA Advice

Options
Both myself and my husband have a cash ISA with Abbey, and have used this years allowance. After 6th April are we best to keep with the Abbey or change?

Does anyone know do bank release ISA rates after the turn of the tax year, or are they out now. If they are out now, where is offering the best rates for next years allowance?

    Your choice entirely.

If Abbey's offerings are not competitive you can always transfer your current ISA to a different provider that offers a better rate and accepts ISA transfers (ISA transfers are not restricted by the tax year start/end dates).

For example, you could open your 2009/10 Cash ISAs with whichever provider offers the best rate and accepts transfers (some do not), pay your 2009/10 allowances in and transfer your Abbey ISAs by completing the new provider's transfer forms.
