It's a confidence thing, if my house is missing what else is missing. being able to report it on a web site doesn't help you when you cannot get to where your going now.0 -
I am afraid that is the nature of sat navs they are never 100% right ( Tomtom or Garmins) that's why you get fools driving in rivers etc .!! you have to use common sense and except that they are not perfect !! they are as good as the software on the device or as good as the operative who compiled the mapping0

I have used them all when i was driving all over europe as a courier and TomTom comes out best of all.You can always update the maps via the net.For just the UK i would advise the basic TomTom and simply update the maps now and again.0

having it on the passenger seat is good enough as the audible stuff is fine
My dad on the other hand is a mong when it comes to listening to a sat nav, he obeys it like its law, if you miss a turning so what, it re routes you and nothing major is lost
mine works in the glove box which is good if you dont want anyone to see it ( i had one Stolen)0 -

Have a look at the Navigon 2210.ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0 -
Has anyone used the Navman S50 3D? I've only ever borrowed an older version of a TomTom so not really sure of the differences, but saw some reviews on it and for the price it didnt seem a bad deal. I'd prefer a sat nav with Bluetooth connection but as far as I know the cheapest TonTom with Bluetooth is slightly out of my budget!Offer accepted on new home - 23/04/09
Days left to count hair loss - LOTS! :eek:0 -
Only ever used a TomTom."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"

I think the most important thing with sat navs is the availability of software updates and map updates if the company do not provide any or are limited it could work out more expensive in the long run0
