Asda - Warning Of Their Overcharging

Don't think there is an official body, but you could try Adsa Customer Services on 0500 100055, naming the store and manager, did you get your £2. voucher each time? If not inform CS and they will send them out to you.
I got a £2 gift voucher on one of the occasions but the trick is not to complain at the checkout (which one gets good at after a bit of practice) because there is no official record of the overcharge, but to go to Customer Services desk afterwards. 'Face ache' Edna on the service desk in Burnley doesn't like giving vouchers out, as if it was coming out of her pocket.
Since I posted last time, the manager, Mark Bones, HAS agreed to see me and having done this search on the Internet, I shall be in a better position to confront him. Watch this space.0 -
I was overcharged by 36p on a book at the Wigan branch. When I complained at the customer services desk they were very apologetic, refunded the money immediately, but there was no sign of a £2 voucher. Should I definitely have had one?0

Yes, call CS on 0500 100055 and inform them that the Wigan branch is not adhering to company policy.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

Mark Bones, manager of the Burnley Branch finally offered me an appointment time just 15 minutes prior to their special bus leaving for home. It was obviously deliberate since the appointment couldn't be brought forward which would have meant catching the regular bus with a full load of shopping.
A good tip is that if you catch errors at the checkout they are not regarded by ASDA as overcharging so make sure you pay and then go straight to the service desk for your £2 voucher and refund.
The only way to make ASDA change its policy is for thousands to swarm to the service desk, so start making a note of prices and check your till receipt. The ones to watch for are the two for the price of one and other special offers. Greengrocery is another area where 'mistakes' seem to be a regular feature.0 -
i seem to get over charged every time i shop at asda,i always check my receipt before i leave and always make sure i get my £2 gift card.
but it would be nice just to shop without double checking everything.
i was even over charged 3 weeks in a row for same items so how many people were overcharged and didnt notice.when your life is a mess light one more cigarette its so logical!!
get up and dance, get up and smile, get up and drink to the days that are gone in the shortest while :T
There's no profit in peace boys we better fight some more:(0 -
i think it's great when they overcharge! i go straight to customer services and collect a refund and a £2 voucher - subsidises the shopping!!:p0
