Or just go to customer services, get a refund of the overcharge and a £2 voucher for every item overcharged

Sorry, know thats already been stated but just pointing out that you have a capital letter for every word in your post- why? are you only half-shouting at us??
BTW- as already mentioned, a £2 gift-card to whoever this happens to. Irritating yes, but most freebies are a hassle to get hold of!0 -

MSE won't allow a full post to be in capitals so it makes it a capital letter at the start of every word.

please Check Your Receipt Every Time You Go And Report Them To Trading Standards Every Time They Do This - It Is The Only Way To Stop This Scam.

Its not a scam, some Asda stores are 24hr and Head Office change the prices at x time, but staff put the point of sale material out at y time. This difference between x and y is when we all shop. We have to be vigilant and check our receipts carefully.
Suby, have you ever been to customer services when the reverse happens and the price is cheaper at the till than the shelf and asked to pay the difference? It is only a scam when Asda do not intend to remedy the situation.Better to remain a silent fool than speak and remove all doubt.0 -
They change their prices on Monday and that is when I shop. I put something in my trolly that is marked up with the offer price and when I go through the till the price has been changed to the higher one. There are numerous occasions I have been to customer services to complain they send someone up to check and come back with the sel showing the higher price and insist it was on the shelf edge when I know it was not when I put the item in my trolley. All I get is we can only go by the price that is now showing and refuse to do anything about it. This week the Frjji was showing 46p after I put 2 in my trolly I went back down the aisle for someting I had forgotten and saw the assistant taking the label off. Iasked him if the price was changing and it was. He told me to point it out on the till and I would be charged the cheaper price. I told him about the problems I had in the past and he gave me the sel to take to the till with me and said if there was a problem to get them to put a call out for him. Sure enough it scanned as £1.05 they did change it after the supervisor was called. The prices should be changed before they open or during the night when the shop is not busy because this is a regular occurence and I am fed up with arguing with the customer service assistants.0

No, it is now £2. for each transaction, used to be per item but they changed it a while back, must have been costing them a fortune.
Had a link to the page, but they have also changed the page and the info is not there now, unless some one has another link showing policy?.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
I got caught on the Ariel 2 for £16 and also on a herbal essences shampoo deal should've been £2 I was charged £3.21. The Ariel I pointed out at the till, and me and the queue behind me waited while it was sorted out, but the shampoo I had to queue at customer skirmishes for the refund ( I'd gone and pulled the SEL off the shelf before I joined the queue) and I asked for the £2 gift voucher. I've been counting - so far it's 9 out of 11 visits I've been mischarged - it's usually on reduced to clear.
But 3 out of 3 Sainsbury visits have been a !!!! up - two of them being given the wrong change. Tesco I am avoiding unless there's a bogof or something, but the last visit there the reduced to clear price went on and off the till receipt so many times I couldn't work it out. Got home and discovered I was actually £1 better off. The reciept was about 14" long instead of 4".
I thought it was just me being unlucky!!0 -
