I see the BBC are bringing in this new thing where you can watch programmes you've missed by watching them online.
Does anyone know if you can download these programmes please?
I'm going away, and going to miss the last few weeks of the Apprentice and I'm really sad like that, but I can't really sit in an internet cafe and watch it!
cheers

I think at present they are trialing it and it has only been made avaiable to pre-registered people. They have closed the trial to new people, or so this was the case when I looked at it a few months ago."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
But in answer to your question, yes, you will be able to download them, but they'll have a license on each file which expires (after 7 days I think it is). I don't know whether within those 7 days it'll give you the rights to burn it to DVD/VCD though...0

just as long as I can put them on my HDD... I really don't want to sit in starbucks/cybercafe for an hour to watch the aprrentice. I'd much rather d/l it and take it away to watch later...
Any idea when this might be coming in please??0 -

how long is there left untill imp is realesed speaking in matters of weeks or months or maybe even a YEAR ?
Hi there,
With the trial still running, nothing is set in stone. Once the trial has finished, we will have to assess the audience's interest in such a service, based on the accumulated data. The decision rests with the BBC Governors.
However, it is definitely not a matter of weeks.
doesn't look like it'll be available for ppl abroad, which is what I'm after....
Will have to get a dvd recorder and get them to record it for me ....
how sad am I!?
