I've been using Easy Cleaner for years so can recommend it. These programs can mess up the registry but the ones recommended in this thread are very good at not messing things up.

I run the cleaner every evening and the registry cleaner also. My laptops have never had any trouble.

Filehippo has also the free version of ccleaner - that's where I download it and its updates. No need to pay!
