Hi
Can anybody recommend a good, free registry cleaner, something like RegCure. Nothing too technical, but can do the job for me. TIA

I use ccleaner. It has a registry cleaning facility on the vertical toolbar on the left. You can download it here:http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
I run the cleaner every evening and the registry cleaner also. My laptops have never had any trouble.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
I use Easy Cleaner, but ccleaner does ok too. Theres also Eusing registry cleaner.0

I use both but mostly Easy Cleaner will find more than CCleaner. They are basically the same sort of program. Easy Cleaner can clean trash files like CCleaner too but I personally think CCleaner is better at that.0

Thanks ...will give Easycleaner a go!0

No if the cleaning program comes up with items to fix, you just say yes. At least that's what I've always done and I've never had problems at all.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
I would give my backing to CCleaner (used to be called C**pCleaner). It does exactly what it says on the tin, and can be set up to clean every time you boot up. If used regularly, it takes only a couple of minutes(at most), and is very user friendly.
If you go for this and have problems, PM and I'll guide you through it:beer:It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Me personally check what it has found to be on the safe side.As Registry cleaning if deleted the wrong thing it has messed my computer up in the past.
I would use with precaution.:A :A :A :A :A :A :A
Over 1000 pound in debt.

Welfare Rights helped me out.

So much eaiser the pressure has been taken off me. :A :A :A :A :A :A :A0 -
As sweetiepie said ~ be aware that registry cleaners can do a LOT more harm than good
Id only ever advise using CCLEANER personally:idea:0
