HELP no Norton ASntivirus

My Norton anti virus has expired will need to buy one today is there a cheaper version?
I have no protection now but where not very clued up with computers a little worried using only for a few moments to ask for help best place to buy was thinking of going to dixon curries etc to get it today as i am now not protected against virus,Please help Asap.

If you updated Norton Antivirus fairly recently you will be ok on the net for a while.

As above AVG antivirus is good and its free as against nearly £20 for Norton
