Quantity:"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible" Bee Movie 20070 -
4 issues every 4 weeks at £2.99 per issue so it's effectively £2.99 per week or £11.96 every 4 weeks? With binders to be charged at ahatever they decide however often they like? And they can produce and charge for special issues whenever they want? That sounds like it'll add up pretty quickly. If I'm right with those calculations then I'm definetly not going to subscribe, even though I really do like the look of those tins. I wonder if they'll let us buy the tins at a later point... (remembers why she wasn't going to subscribe a couple of posts ago)0

Judging by the free set of 3 storage boxes for your seeds there are at least 90 editions! It looks like there are enough spaces for 30 tins on each of the trays.
I have tried loads of places this morning to get the first issue even WH Smith but as they are considered to be a small store they won't be getting any in.
It may be worth subscribing as it is free delivery and cancelling after the first edition if you don't want to get any more (it does say you can cancel at any time on the site).
If you click on the picture of the magazine it shows you a few pages of it and it does look quite good.

I know that you can buy seeds from Lidl, Aldi etc but I suppose £2.99 isn't too bad when you are getting seeds, the tin and something to read, plus you don't have to faff around parking to buy it as it is delivered.
I think I may subscribe and get at least the first edition to see what it's like.
:rolleyes:0 -
If you subscribe, the free gifts are:
set of 3 patio planters
3 stackable seed storage boxes
2 tier mini greenhouse
and second issue free
I have subscribed as there is no obligation so I can cancel whenever I want (after the free gifts?!)0 -

I would imagine there is something in the small print when you get your freebies about having to have paid for a certain number of copies otherwise everyone would buy a couple of issues, get the free gifts and then cancel.0 -
I have had a magazine set from this company before. The free gifts were staggered out through out the series.0

That's right, I remember now. We used to get the Mr Bean magazine for my daughter, I had forgotten about that.
I would think you get the seed tin holder first as that is pretty pointless to have without the seed tins, then the patio pots and the mini greenhouse when you have received a few of the magazines.0 -
I may have been tempted if it was 1 or two issues per month but 1 a week will work out costly and im broke..
Shame as I am a total beginer. Just ordered some strawberry plants and a strawberry tub. got to start somewhere0
