Hi folks. Am returned from the week away, had a great time but was utterly none MSEish virtually all week. Need to get sorted out this month now and try to make some of it back, which will include trying to sell the camera I bought because I'd left mine at home!
On the plus side I got home to an email from GM, I've sold another book so will post it on Monday and can now add the £45 saving from not having to pay for my car insurance (and I got home to find someone has washed both my cars so I can start photographing the old one to try and sell it - might try ebaymotors). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Morning everyone! What a gorgeous day...shame I am stuck inside finishing the essay I should have done 2 weeks ago. Hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine!
Just got a £5 M+S voucher from Direct Line in the postI don’t know where they got my name - but they sent me a letter a while back saying I’d get a free voucher if I got a car insurance quote online. I did the quote and then forgot all about it, until it popped through my door this morning. It did say on my letter that it’s only open to those who have received an ‘incentive letter’ - but there's no code to put in or anything, and it only takes 2 mins so it might be worth a try if anyone’s bored. Even if you don’t get anything this time, they might put you on whatever mailing list they’ve got for sending out these offers? I’m really chuffed, for the 2 minutes it took me to do the quote!
Also just picked up a couple of nice mystery shops - a supermarket which is always good to stock up on free groceries, and a sandwich place which I love anywayI got ridiculously excited about the sandwich one when I saw it on the list, how sad?!
Had a very dry spell with mystery shopping in my little town lately, so here's hoping it starts to pick up again now!

Hi! I've seen Bingoport mentioned a few times. Do I need to put money in to join it? The amazon voucher how much is it for? Is it just 8000 points for an Amazon voucher? And could I get away with just joining up and posting on the forum to get the points or do I need to actually play?:ASaving for my future...0

Hey miss_keep_countingBP is quite fun, when you get into it! No you don't need to pay to join, it's all free. You get points for posting on the forums, spinning the 'wheel' and registering your mobile number and email address - you can then use these points to play free bingo, and if you win you get even more points. 8000 points gets you a £5 amazon voucher. You do need to actually play to get the vouchers, yes...I read a thread on there where someone had been refused vouchers for just posting and not playing. I don't think they mind you using some of your posting points to get you up to the voucher level, but not all of them - some of it has to come from playing too.
Hope that helps! xxx

DH did quite a bit of overtime over the weekend. Needed it to get some work done on the car, after the car was paid for we have £22.56 left from his overtime so that is going in the pot for this month. My item is ending on ebay tomorrow night so hopefully it will do well, it's on £50 at the moment with a lot of watchers, so fingers crossed.Make £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£3100

That was a fantastic explanation! Thank you. I don't mind playing to win more points to get the vouchers if I'm just gambling my free points hehe, I'll try that way and not put any money in and see if I can get away with itI'm dreaming of all the lovely things I can buy for gifts for people with that fiver! I'll post if I manage to get hold of it.

BPort is fantastic fun and a free way to make some voucher - I have £51 in my Amazon account from Bport wins (I had £130 but needed a mattress for little-ones bed etc). Must go do my posts lol!
I have a car on ebay at the moment - a bit of £85 within an hour and loads of questions including someone asking what I want for it ideally (£150 I said although we were going to scrap it for £50!) so will get hubby to anser all these technical questions later - fingers crossed. Atleast we'll get £85 minus fees (£8 to list a motor!).
Fingers crossed for me!MSE-ing since 20070
