Just completed a survey on Media transfer which has taken me to the redemption level so requested a £16 Amazon voucher. Will update signature when I actually receive the voucher. Still waiting to receive payment from Cashinco which I requested on 17/3.

I regularly sort through stuff for ebay and seem to stockpile it. I usually sell my old clothes, shoes and bags as I have more of those things than anything else. Anything which our household no longer needs really

Mrsezzie - welcome to the challenge! I only started in Jan myself but it gets so addictive :D I make most of my challenge money from overtime at work, Ebaying, mystery shopping, surveys and free daily scratchcards - the first post of this thread has a link about them I think. Also I'm doing fairly well out of cashback websites over the last few months - registering for free trials and so on, which actually pay you to take them out! Just cancel before the free trial ends :) I do a big Ebay clearout maybe every 3 or 4 months, and sell everything from clothes and shoes to books, CD's, DVD's and beauty products.

Hi Aspella - I’m still waiting on a Cashinco payment too (although mine’s only from 5th April so not as long as yours). Apparently they are having some technical probs and they have extended payout times to 30 days from when you request it now. Mind you, yours has been over 30 days now hasn’t it? Hope it’s not a sign of them going bust or anything :(

Just £4.55 to add for me today - Onepoll 35p, and a £4.20 travel expense cheque from work. Although I have also reached payout on my scratchcards this morning, so should hopefully be able to add that in a couple of days when in my account. Also got a nice letter from a debt collector today - my first ever one! Those lot are a right ray of sunshine, aren’t they? I don’t even owe this particular group of cowboys a penny…it’s from a parking ticket on private land, which I’m not paying because I totally dispute it. Anyway, it made me realise how mean and nasty their letters can get… miserable sods. I wonder if they get a kick out of being nasty to people??? Big meanie bullies!

Attempting to pay off our debts! Balances Jan 2018 -
    Family member £3,700 - Virgin CC £1,000 - MBNA £1,700 - Barclaycard £2,500 (was £2,700) - Halifax CC £1,280

  • Ok. Bit late joining, but! 18 days left so target is £180. I've got 42 auctions to put on ebay/amazon this sunday, sorted the photos just got to write up descriptions. Feeling really good about this as I have a lot of junk to get rid of. Last year I did ebay and carboot and made a few hundred and gave a lot to charity too.

I also went looking for leaflet delivery work. I found a guy on gumtree who offered me £60 for 4000 business cards. I'm not working this next week (I used to walk for at least 5 hours a day in that job) and I've cancelled my gym membership to save money so I'm happy to pop on my headphones and do it, but, he didn't give me any money upfront as we kind of dithered about. He said he'd pay me at the end of the month and asked me to e-mail with the roads I do as part of his incentive was that I'd earn a small commission on any jobs he got as he'd had trouble with someone he paid dumping the leaflets so it's his was of insuring I deliver them and don't dump them.

Am I totally silly not getting paid upfront? I don't know how this normally works. I trusted him throughout our discussions but now am getting cold feet. I'm debating e-mailling him tomorrow to get in writing how much he'l pay me and when as I'm going to do a few hours delivery tomorrow morning so can mail him the roads I've started. Thoughts?
