Not having a very good Money-making day today at all…I didn’t win on the Boots Advantage Card point competition, had to reschedule one of my mystery shops as couldn’t make it today, and got kicked out of 2 Valued Opinions surveys for not fitting their requirements. And then I finally managed to complete a survey for Lightspeed, but the points haven’t registered in my account. Aaaaarrrggh I am going back to bed! Lol.
Did get 11p in Clubcard points and 12p in Boots Advantage points without spending any money, so that’s something - my friend was buying stuff and doesn’t have a card, so let me put the points on mine. Been a NSD so far but I am hungry, so about to go to Asda and ruin it all now!

Redeemed a couple of pounds worth of points from lightspeed, but as always that goes to my paypal total and wont be counted for the challenge until I get it in the bank. Plodding away at one poll still, just over half way to their payout level. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

£1.93 from a little ebay sale for me today

Evening all :hello:
DH found out today that he hasn't got the jobI'm absolutely gutted for him. No point me going on about it cos I'm sure you don't all really want to hear me moaning and it's been on my mind all day already
I sold another 2 things today for £7 each which I wanted to add to my total... but to cheer DH up we had a take away for tea (not very MSE I know) so I used that anyway. I will put it back out of our wages tomorrow so that I can still save it towards my total though, so will add it to my sig.
The person wanting to buy the kitchen for £50 has changed her mind cos she doesn't think she's got room for it. I have emailed someone else that was interested in it though, so will wait and see if she comes back to me. Hopefully she will.
Bottle of wine in the fridge and dvd at the ready, so come 10pm when the forums go down I will be very prepared!
Does everyone else have a back up plan?:rotfl:

aw am sorry to hear that sweetpeas!
Not made anything today and spent a small fortune. Decided to get new furniture for my room as what I have is now falling apart and have had enough of it!
My backup plan since we have no mse will be to spend the day assembling the new items and hopefully listing on ebay.0 -
I sold some more things on ebay so will add that once i have taken off fees and p+p when i post them tomorrow.
£37.51 to add in today though from Quidco and a lotto win on Wednesday.0 -

Aw I'm really sorry to hear that Sweetpeas! Just wanted to sympathise as my OH recently went for his dream job and didn't get it either, he was devastated. It's so hard as you are trying to hide your own disappointment too and make them feel better aren't you! I hope he finds something even better soon
Purpleroses - you deserve a treat, hope the furniture is nice!
I have not managed to make anything else towards my challenge today, so that's a bit rubbish after such a good start! I am also extremely tempted to spend £35 on a top and some leggings from Topshop.com...please somebody stop me? It will undo all this month's good work if I do that! I am also really annoyed with OH's bosses at work today aswell actually, sorry in advance for the rant but it's just reminded me! He is not even on full time hours, he's only contracted for 22 hours a week and is meant to make the rest up to full-time hours using overtime. It's not ideal at all, as nobody will give us a mortgage based on those hours, and the overtime is hit and miss! A person left last month who did the same job as OH, meaning there is a 30-hour vacancy going which would me much better - but for some reason they will not give it to him, they are insisting on advertising it instead. Is SOOOOO stupid! It would make our lives so much easier if they'd just do this for him, instead of constantly struggling and penny pinching every last pennySorry for the rant, I am just so annoyed and miserable today!
Oh well, am sure tomorrow will be better, fingers crossed  Going to miss MSE though! My back-up plan is to get on with my uni essay all day, will probably be a blessing in disguise having no distractions on here actually!
