Could anyone furnish me with a phone number or e-mail for Sky TV to make a complaint.....I need to speak to someone that can actually help me and not fob me off, give me bs, etc. I did have Murdochs e-mail address some time ago but seem to have misplaced.
I won't go into the ins and outs but the call centres are driving me absolutuely bloody mad now....remember that guy that sprayed the Natwest with manure I totally get it now!!!!!! :T

Whats the issue?
I would ring the normal number and ask how to do a complaint.0 -
The problem is if a ring the normal number it takes 5 mins before i've answered the inane automated questions.....i'm already cross i'm getter crosser and crosser with every minute i'm listening to the damn music and by the time someone answers I just want to lambast them. They never know what you are talking about and always give you a BS response, when to try to get your point across they talk over you, I just find them incredibly rude and unwilling to listen to reason. Oooh rant!!
My original complaint is an ongoing billing issue with them i.e. they can't get it right.
I got my bill in the middle of Feb which for aguments sake was £60.00 and was due to be paid on 24th Feb. I rang them up and said I was struggling to pay and they said no problem we can give you an extension till the 15th March. I paid said £60 on 13th March.....no problem you may think......
On 16th March my service was disconnected I called up and was informed I owed £13.... why? I asked, because I've never had a nil balance on my account.... how come I asked because I pay my bill every month? apparently some months back I bought a £3.99 pay per view movie which went on after my bill was issued for that particular month therefore leaving an outstanding balance when the next bill was issued, i'm sorry I replied I didn't know I had to coincide my PPV with the billing date, anyhow I asked where does £13.00 come from??
By this time I was so cross I wasn't listening so I just paid the £13 in question in order to get the service reconnected....the end??? err no ...
After paying the £13 I was told i'm sorry I can't reconnect you, why i asked because you owe £50.......WHAT THE F****!!!! Yes that is due on 24th March I replied no you need to pay that now or set up a direct debit I was told, but I pay £4 a month for the priviledge of not paying by direct debit why do I need one now? Anyhow as there is no reasoning with them I gave them my bank details and low and behold my viewing was re-instated, I was also assured that I needn't make another payment until 24 April when the £50 due PLUS Aprils bill would be due together, no problem I said thank you.....the end???
eerrrr no!! Today I have recieved a letter from them saying "Welcome back" (I've not been anywhere) We are happy to confirm that your viewing will be reinstated on 24/3/2009 (its already on) but please be aware that you owe £40.17 please pay now to ensure your viewing isn't interupted. So i've rung up and explained all of the above and basically they're saying the lady that I spoke to on the 16th was totally lying and I need to pay the £40.17 now not in April by DD.
So basically the left hand doesn't know what the right is up to and I'm being peed about. So want to put it in writing to them.
Sorry for the rant but uou asked so2006Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it

press "0" 10 times when the you get into the queue and you will go straight to the front of the queue (Its what the Sky engineers use to avoid the queue when they need customer services)0

Free calls??? What number do you ring the one I've got is an 087 number. I've actually not got the indian call centre for a while I keep getting the one in Scotland where everyone is called Rachel (apart from the guys of course)!!
Glad you see my point about the billing, they just can't get it right thats why I didn't pay my bill by direct debt so I had some sort of control over what they were claiming for. One month last year they tried to take about £150 for one month:eek: So its not just this incident thats got my back up its a whole catalogue of errors and that not including the !!!! up over my Sky Hd box order but I won't even go there:mad:Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it
