Pipex finally issue MAC!! (2 weeks after request)

I was phoned yesterday by someone from Tiscali to give me my MAC code, that I originally requested from Pipex on Friday 13th March. Yippee! I am now waiting for a lady from a BT call centre to ring me on Monday and start service back with them at £12.99 a month. Several postings have mentioned cheaper options with BT, but I don't know how to find out about them. I am on an exchange that only offers BT wholesale so I can't consider anything like O2 or Plusnet (as they will be more expensive, although initially cheaper for the first 3 months). If anyone can advise me how to get BT broadband for less than £12.99 I would be eternally grateful.
