Forums to close for major upgrade

Hi folks,
On the weekend of April 3rd-5th we wil be performing a major upgrade to the Forum. Unfortunately, this will require it's closure for a siginificant amount of time so from 10pm on Friday April 3rd, the Forum wil be closed to users and we expect it to be down for most, if not all of Saturday and possibly some of Sunday.
Of course, we wil try and bring it up as soon as possible but this is a major work so we need to allow plenty of time to test it. The main site, articles and tools will be unaffected.
Now, a whole week to make some plans

Are any details available on the nature of the upgrades? Is it the forum software or some form of hardware upgrade – are we likely to notice any differences etc?0
