    Oh! And remortgaging for more than the mortgage so I could buy a car (yes, the one I am still paying for!).

    Here here! Consolidated a loan, credit card and store card. Then upped the mortgage to pay them all off then got a new credit card, new house and even bigger mortgage!!

    switching to powergen for gas and electric, yes it is moneysaving in that they offer the best rates for me, but my god, I had been with them in a previous flat and had all sorts of customer service trouble and as soon as i switch back it starts again, idiots calling me up at all time of day not knowing their a*** from their elbow.

    If there's a primary school near you you could ask if you can put up a card on their notice board.

    Adding an extra 'loan' into the mortgage when I first got it to pay for a few things at the time.

    I looked the other day and a loan for £1000 was spread out over 10 years!!!! at £12 per month. Thats £5 per month in interest alone.

    Don't think so, thats going soon.

    getting an endowment mortgage, cutting the term and increasing the premium and finding out that it is going to pay me less than I have paid into it, never mind having a surplus.............

    the complaint is being dealt with, let's see what happens

    RE: babysitting - i was going to go into business with a friend running a babysitting company and all of the people that we asked (for reasearch) said that they wouldn't leave their kids with somebody that they didn't know. Guess safety is a big issue these days!

    Another one here for the consolidation loan, still paying it and will be for god knows how long, paying off credit cards, i had 4, cutting up two and then getting another one, they are all maxed out now.
