Consolidation loan......had a number of them over the years, and the last one I got is going to be the last one - EVER!!!

Here here! Consolidated a loan, credit card and store card. switching to powergen for gas and electric, yes it is moneysaving in that they offer the best rates for me, but my god, I had been with them in a previous flat and had all sorts of customer service trouble and as soon as i switch back it starts again, idiots calling me up at all time of day not knowing their a*** from their elbow.Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

Adding an extra 'loan' into the mortgage when I first got it to pay for a few things at the time.
I looked the other day and a loan for £1000 was spread out over 10 years!!!! at £12 per month. Thats £5 per month in interest alone.
Don't think so, thats going soon.0 -
getting an endowment mortgage, cutting the term and increasing the premium and finding out that it is going to pay me less than I have paid into it, never mind having a surplus.............

RE: babysitting - i was going to go into business with a friend running a babysitting company and all of the people that we asked (for reasearch) said that they wouldn't leave their kids with somebody that they didn't know. Guess safety is a big issue these days!£2's savers club....£14
