    Hey People
Loads of people say Aldi or Lidl plants and seeds are excellent

Loads of people say jumping off a bridge with a piece of elastic attached to your bum is a good idea, doesn't mean I have to believe them.

Just back from lidl, passing two on my way home went to have alook at these trees

They seem to be grown on a dwarfing rootstock as label says mature height 3m so axctually seems a good deal

Also have a few different varieties (other that the ones that are normally on the offers for dwarf trees)

Apple - Jonogild, Elstar, and Cox
Pear - Conference, douyenne du cornice
    Cherry - stella, morel
    Plum - victoria, opal

Different lidls have different ones bought opal plum at one and cox apple at another they only seem to have about twenty trees each mostly confernece pear and jonogold apples. with one or two each of the others.

I went in to look today and wasn't too impressed. I agree a £5 seemed okay, but nearly £10 no - I would rather go to a proper nursery & get a variety that would do well here - Highlands. However I was in Morrissons & bought some really nice ornamental trees for £1.99 each & also a Camillia for same price.
They look good & healthy too.

Yes if a pollinator is nearby & bees do their job & a sharp frost does not kill the blossom
When an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray
