Hi there - nearly missed the thread, had my brothers to stay since Friday. The meal plan is looking like this:
today: hm chinese chicken soup, keema curry with rice and cucumber salad
Monday: pasta with salmon, broccoli and hollandaise sauce
Tuesday/Wednesday: I'm away, DH to dig into the freezer for all those delicious leftovers.....
Thur: galette au chou as picked up from this thread last week.
Fri: veal ragout (from our stash of organic veal) with mixed roast root veg.
Sat: could be a barbecue if weather forecast turns out to be correct
Sun: Moosewood mexican pepper casserole with brown rice
Clutterydrawer - I love the sound of stuffed peppers with fennel, tomato and lentils - how do you make that?
I'm also making a mental note of quesadilla's with brie and spinach as ginandtonic1988 mentions.... that could be improvised.

Okay, last week went perfectly for myself and my gf!
Now over the coming weeks I have a problem... my gf is leaving in the morning of the 2nd april and comes back for dinner time on the 15th of april (she's going abroad to see family etc.) so... have to feed for myself over that time - and I generally always cook for four servings...
Monday - Left over game casserole from Sun - with potatos
Tuesday - Curry using local companies curry sauces from market (called taste asia - from southampton)
Wednesday - More curry from above!
And from Thurs I have to feed only myself so....
Thursday - Asda fish pie ready meal - my gf has had it in her freezer for ages so I shall eat it!
Friday - Waitrose reduced curry ready meal - add rice
Saturday - Chicken and chips
Sunday - Pizza
Next week should be healthier, just trying to clear out the freezer!
Good luck everyone!0 -
Mon: Fresh Pasta and Sauce
Tues: Chicken Kievs (was on special in Tescos last week)
Wed: Pork Mince Lasagne
Thurs: Spagetti Carbonara
Fri: Chicken Stir fry (OH turn to cook)
Since jan I have been doing menu plans and recently due to being made redundant and now taking a job in London (an hour commute each way) means this is more important than ever. Thank you for all you food suggestions was finding it difficult.

Monday - Minestrone Soup, Crusty Bread & Cheesecake
Tuesday - Pasta Bake & Salad
Wednesday - Chicken Curry & Rice
Thursday - Chilli & Rice
Friday - Spaghetti Carbonara
Saturday - Lasagne, Wedges & Salad
Sunday - SC Brisket, Roast Potatoes, Veggies, Yorkshire Puddings & Gravy
