Hi everyone
Mealplan number 3 for me. It's amazing how well it's working. We might not have the things on the day but we definitely do in the week. When I think of the amount of times I've got home to hear OH say "what's for tea cos there's nothing there"
Anyway, here's the plan:
Sun - Roast pork, Roast potatoes, apple pie & ice cream
Mon - Macaroni & cheese (plus 2 portions for lunches)
Tues - Sausage & bean casserole in SC any ideas for the sauce anyone?
Wed - Tuna pasta
Thurs - Fish fingers chips & sweetcorn
Fri - Mince & potatoes

I got the recipe from Apples for Jam - this is my adapted version
Sausage and potato goulash
Heat some oil and butter in a large, heavy based pan.
Saute some finely chopped red onion for a couple of minutes, stir in 1-2 tsp paprika and cook for 30 seconds.
Slice the sausages into rounds 1cm thick and add to the pan to cook (or grill the sausages, and then slice and add).
Chop some potatoes into bite size chunks and add to the browned sausages; along with 1/2 tin chopped tomatoes and 500ml water/stock.
Bring to the boil, then lower the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are softened.:A0
