What happens tomorrow with contract end?

My 12 month o2 contract comes to an end tomorrow, a deal which I took out through Dialaphone. As I understand it after the contract ends it simply turns into a 1 month rolling contract. Am I ok to order a new 24 month o2 contract through mobiles.co.uk tonight? I dont know if it would screw things up ie. do I need to let o2 know what my plans are first?

Absolutely nothing. You contract doesn't end - it will go on forever as long as you pay for it. All that happens tomorrow, is you have completed your minimum term, and can give 30 days notice to leave should you wish, without any penalty.

You dont say if you want to keep your existing. If you sign up on a new contract through another supplier then you will get a new number because you'll have to cancel your existing contract.

Ignore this advice. You won't "have" to cancel before being able to get a new contract.

You can go ahead and order your new deal now.

If you don't want the original dialaphone contract to continue, give notice to quit to o2.
