Renewal of Samsung Line Advance deal
I was luck enough to take advantage of last years exellent tip for the samsung line advance deal. Phone package included a samsung c100 phone and 100 cross network anytime minutes and 50 texts a month for £100 per year.
This is shortly due to run out and Iwas wondering if anyone knows of any similar deals this year? No sites I've look at seem to mention line advance as an option its just PAYG or contract.
I am a very low user but like to be able to use it whenever I want. I never go over my 100min or 50 text. If I stay with vodaphone the contract goes up to £25 per month!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Issy

I'm in the same boat (vodaphone contract with singlepoint, got it last year from PHONES 4U).
1) Phones 4U always keeps its cards close to its chest about Line Advance deals. I've had them for the last years - only seem to be available in December and sometimes for only a few days at a time. I'll be popping into the shop every few days starting December 1st to see what they have.
2) SinglePoint themselves mentioned they could sell me a Line Advance deal for £99.99 however it only included a small number of minutes (25? 30?) and no texts.
3) there are lots of contract 'deals' where total cost of ownership for the year can be below £100, but they all involve hard work and might go wrong [I'm talking about deals involving "redemption" and changing your tarrif down after 6 months - I don't think I can trust myself or these slimey companies]
4) If you're a truly light user you might be ok with FRESH from Carphone Warehouse. Quick summary of their current offer: voucher credits expire after 60 days, free SIM when you buy £10 credit, £5 is smallest voucher available, texts are 5p, calls are 15p/min (including cross-network). So get a SIM for £10 and top up £5 every 2 months. I'll do this myself (for a while, at least) if a Line Advance deal does not become available and I'm too scared of redemption.0 -

They have a range of no line rental offers which are cash redemptions for the 12 months line rental. Both have good reputations in newsgroups & forums.0 -
Have you tried calling the service provider and ask what they're charging to pay upfront for another year? My friend's on a similar deal with Vodafone and gets it extended every year with a new phone at a really cheap price, even though they stopped offering this to new customers a couple years ago. The fact that he points out he'll change to another network if the price goes up helps a bit I think!0
