classic sad use of sockpuppets. Now Brodder's 'WFT', 'Sockpuppets' & 'Pickles90210' are so obviously a joke, that they're OK in my book. :)
Me thinks he doth protest too much.

Classic stuff. The chief moaner about sockpuppets turns out to be one himself! He'll have to create another couple now. lol

Lol JB, well with the depth and strength of that evidence, how can I do anything other than admit that you've 'outed' me and so I'll come clean with all my other usernames:

Goal posts changing. I have a few years to retirement and we have a mix of 7 different pension pots split between old company and private pensions. Only 2 are in fact being paid into. The annuity rate has crashed over the last 15 years so what might have totalled a fairly decent income is now diminished.

Equities also have done badly. As far as cash savings, which in the last number of years I have piled into, the interest is near to zilch. However I will keep saving. Not much I want to spend on. Don`t like tat!!!!

The peace of mind is not worrying if the boiler blows up or paying the utility bills.

I'm space rider (disabled daughter, just like DD!):
I have a daughter with a genetic syndrome 22q11 who had a terrible prognosis because of a heart defect and wasn`t expected to do anything much less live beyond 6 months. I could never have given up on her and with lots of love care and attention she did hit most of her milestones albeit late.

Thankfully we have a good benefit system and I was able to have a career break and have 3 years off work. Had I overstretched myself with my mortgage I could have ended up repossessed.

I'm mr.broderick (Mentioned carolt/!!!!!! love tryst, Just like DD!):
    Pickledpink are you mad !!?
You've missed loads of exciting stuff, don't know where to start..!!!!!!'s affair with carolt, Mr.B punching above his weight with the gorgeous lawyer from chelsea and Mewbie, well just being his normal self. MSE!! It's the future !!

Finally, and just for fun, here is my speculation on who Topov is... :)

yes - it's that double bluff or is it now a triple bluff to accuse someone else of using sock puppets.
you know where i'm coming from don't you...
I do know where you're coming from ;)

I also know that !!!!!!? maintains that Topov is you, but I have to say that she/he has a much cruder manner than you'd ever stoop to. Why, if it wasn't for the fact that carolt is Topov's target I'd suggest that topov is carolt's other, other username. Perhaps this is a double/triple bluff by carolt - slate yourself to gain sympathy?

Wow, she's a better tactician than Napolean!

I must admit JB, I really enjoyed that little search through memory lane while searching for my other Sock Puppets.

I have to say that I am surprised you bothered to trawl through the MSE archives - the only other person who used to bother doing that was !!!!!!?....

Oh hold on!!! What a Minute, what's this I find:

The amount of denial around in the media and some of the experts is simply breathtaking. After years of experts denying the obvious inevitability of the ending of the credit/housing bubble, many people are still trying desperately to pretend this all isn't happening - even as things are clearly and visibly falling apart IMHO.
    JonnyBravo wrote: »
These are the same type of experts who right until the last minute were denying any crash would take place as has been stated by others.
I'm with carolt in that I rather like them trying to put a figure on it but theyre just as likely to be wrong now as they were first time around IMHO.

For shame JonnyWTF, for shame! :rotfl:

DD, I really think that you have to much time on your hands or that you are wasted in your current job.
Your power of deductions should be put to much better use and find out who is behind Mr Broon.

Back on topic. Is it really in tatters? How's that debt looking? How's the reno project you said was going to be worth 600k? What's the next project, how's the outlook for borrowings? How's life at the docks?

    Getting smaller every month.
How's the reno project you said was going to be worth 600k?
Might have been a bit hopeful over this value.
However will get a better value a soon as the repro in the road gets published in the Land Regs figures. It needs about £120k spending on it to bring it up to scratch.
    What's the next project,
Until the Market starts moving in a positive direction I will hold tight.
    how's the outlook for borrowings?
Like you I am just going to pay down debt to make sure we come out fitter than the stupid position I put us into.
    How's life at the docks?
Volumes are up but will that be enough? Who knows.

All I hope for at the moment is that no more people lose their jobs unless they more under their own steam.

Hi Pickles. I do have a bit of time on my hands this evening, thank goodness, I don't mind being called realy, really, realy1, 2 or 3, brodders, chucky, StevieJ, etc. (I quite like those chaps) but I draw the line at such an odious person as Topov. They'll be accusing me of being Downey and that racist dervish next

Wow! dithering Dad, you're losing all credibility here. You're clearly in denial.

Come out of the nasty, dark closet. Stand up and say it proud:
    I am a sockpuppet
You'll feel much better when you do

um brodders, did you actually read that post of mine you quoted? Where did I deny anything?

I'll copy it here for you, and highlighted the salient point for you. Do you want me to spell it out for you pho-net-ically? :rotfl:please read:
