Hi, I have £5000 to invest for my wedding in 2 or 3 years time. Could you tell me what the lowest risk and highest return would be in the current climate?

Either of the two, natwest e-isa (3.25% variable), or halifax reward isa (fixed rate 3%). Put £3600 this tax year, but you better get a move on as time is running out. Then put the rest £1400 into the next tax year (6th april).
Its to short a time to put into stocks and shares in this current climate.0 -
2/3 years is too short a timescale for investment-based products anyway, ideally they need to be a minimum of 5-10 years and most are not low-risk in comparison with savings products.manic_saver wrote: »Its to short a time to put into stocks and shares in this current climate.0 -
