As long as its not raining. It would have to be a scorcher of a day for it to kick off.

My mate is a met cop, and he is looking forward to it, extra overtime, and the opportunity to crack a few skulls.
Lets hope the rioters get the first boot in then
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Just think of the H&S aspect, You have a rioter about to lob a petrol bomb at a bunch of bankers, if its been raining, he could slip and give himself a nasty burn

After the Buntsfield Court ruling on Total last week I feel their shares are a better bet because they can only go up!

& lets face it, Total petrol now has proven explosion qualities & shell is anyones bet.

If you were an anarchist which would you buy?

No time for experiements with Molatov.

World War 3, I'm not kidding.

The G20 meeting is going to be about who is on who's side and what can we get away with.

What do you envisage the process would be? Do you have any thoughts as to which side the UK will/should be on?

When do you think WWIII will commence, please?
  • It all depends on how scarce money supply becomes and how entrenched policies become. World War II was a direct result of the depression and the failure of the Weimar republic - Hitler would not have been elected had Germany's economy not been destroyed.

Whilst I think that a world war is at the extreme edge of the scale, a war isn't that outrageous a concept. Eastern Europe left bankrupt and abandoned by the EU, nationalist leaders arise, the old regional powers support different sides and we get the cold war back only hotter. Or someone decides to make a grab for the gulf. Or China decides it needs to control its "Northern Resource Area" (AKA Russian Siberia).

All things are possible. Unlikely. But more possible now that the world faces an uncertain future. Nothing more dangerous than frightened world leaders threatened by an angry populace.

There is no point worrying about the future. None of us knows what it will bring collectively, or individually.

Even if there is a boom collectively bad things can happen to you as an individual - friends and family dying, disabling accident, loss of job, partner walking out.....

Even if there is a bust collectively good things can happen to you as an individual - promotion, winning the lottery, meeting a new partner, having a child....

This doom mongering is group hysteria. We are not in a world war, the pandemic bird flu has not taken hold, martians are not invading and the food distribution system has not collapsed.

If any of the above happen there is still no point worrying. All you can do is the best you can.
