What 80 year cycle?
I think he means the one I use to get to my allotment. It's not quite that old though.:rotfl:
OP asked who is ready, and I'd say I am. I want to move out of the city to somewhere that allows a measure of self-sufficiency. In country places you also find a thriving underground economy, where people share what they have in terms of talents. I'm not saying that doesn't happen in towns, just that an element of necessity has made it stronger in rural areas, which are often poorer.0 -
World War 3, I'm not kidding.
The G20 meeting is going to be about who is on who's side and what can we get away with.0 -

I don't particularly think there will a WW3, there will be increasing tensions and troubles in the middle east over the coming years, we all know the reasons for this, and it isn't to help the people of these nations it's about resources, one in particular.
If it was about people, Zimbabwe would have been invaded, Rhwanda would have been averted. The truth of the matter is, people are expendable, resources are not.0 -

Riots will be back and big time, and it won't just be rent a mob. Watching the recent footage about the miners strike I thought some thing similar will happen, clashes with police etc. Decent people are losing out and the !!!!!! will hit the fan in the summer.
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -
War is a distinct possibility if this depression roles on for a few years.0

As long as its not raining. It would have to be a scorcher of a day for it to kick off.
My mate is a met cop, and he is looking forward to it, extra overtime, and the opportunity to crack a few skulls.0
