I have sent you an email, but it's suddenly occurred to me to ask - was your sister paid late for her March work, or was it just that you were panicking a bit once her employment stopped?
If she was in fact paid late for her March work, you should include this fact in your tribunal application. PM me and I will send you a revised version of the ET statement!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Thanks jobbingmusician, honestly everyone, she has been immensely helpful throughout.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it ....0 -

hafe4k did let me know the outcome of this at the time, and it was positive. I'm sorry I can't remember the details (I have to empty my inbox at least every other day) but I know the outcome was favourableEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

I remember she was happy with the outcome. I think she left. However, I note that hafe4k last logged on to this site less than a week ago, so perhaps s/he will come on to update us, now the thread has livened up againEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

AHHHHHHHHH just read the whole thread and no end to the story.
I took DH ex employer to ET last year and won, but we are still waiting for some of the money, hoping they will pay it all.Pawpurrs x0 -
Thanks, as pointed out above this is the response to the grievance letter.
I tried contacting ACAS was on busy for a whole hour twice! Once at 3pm and again at about 5pm! So wanted to ask, whether continuous employment of over 2 years counts as permanent employment?
Can any1 advice?
If you phone ACAS at 8.00am sharp you normally get through.
As far as I can see she does have a permanent job by default and their letter is total hot air.
She can add failing to provide written particulars of employment to her claim! (you can't now take a case to an ET for this reason alone but it can be added to any other valid claim and should lead to additional compensation).0 -

The rules for extracting money following a successful ET has just been strengthened and you can now use High Court facilities for a very modest fee rather than having to rely on the county court system.0 -
As a % of what you wanted how much did you get and was it worth the stress and hassle?
Sorry do you mean what % of the settlement or % of what I expected to get? Yes it was worth the hassle. A third is still outstanding. The rules for extracting money following a successful ET has just been strengthened and you can now use High Court facilities for a very modest fee rather than having to rely on the county court system.
Thanks, I am aware of that, and have threatned to use the High Court, but am hoping they will pay, if they dont in the next few days, thats preciesly what I intend to do next.Pawpurrs x0
