    if it was a feature that was in the beta build, it should be in the final build.

    Have you tried repairing the connection? (right click on the wireless > Repair)

    Also try turning both pc and router off for a min and then turn back on starting with the router

    It would have been helpful if you mentioned that earlier, as inability to run Sys Restore means it's likely that you have a spyware or virus infection.
    What security are you running on your system?
