    Hintza,

no she is paranoid about being off the clutch whenever she can. Every time she stops, into nuetral and handbrake on..like being out on a driving test....lol
  • Like many brands, there's a price rise on Citroen on 1st Apr..they are going up by average 3%. Cars be ordered at current price up to Tuesday only.

'Value' of the car you've found depends on its engine and spec' and extras. Bear in mind you ened to ask what date it was registered as its warranty would have started on that date, so you've lost however many mths since registration of its original warranty...

I believe that sometimes dealers can buy 'demonstrator' stock at a big discount but they are not permitted to sell them within a specified time frame. Hence the 'bargain' not being snapped up before.

I bought a car that was just over a year old but had 15 miles on it, the dealer had over 20 all identical! they had sat in a warehouse for exactly 1 year until he was allowed to sell them. It had lost 1 out of 3 years warranty but was factory new and 40% cheaper. The only other catch is the number plate makes it look used when its not, if that sort of thing bothers you, its still nice to drive a 'new' car! and the plates change so often now I really don't think people take much notice any more.

I would suspect this was a per registered vehicle to meet target/ get volume sales discount. But as citroen offer great cashback and 0% on their new stock it, by comparison, seemed more expensive than buying new to anyone coming in the door to buy. They must have just discounted this to get it out of the way - I'm surprised they are not using it as a courtesy car though.
