Thanks for that. When I checked there were NO drivers for Nvidia installed!
Installed now and desktop looks normal but MSE is too big for page. Any thoughts?
I too will have to resort to updating/upgrading, I realise, its just that I have an inability to give in to technology and want to sort it, even if it takes time!
Thats why you guys on here are so kind to persevere!:T0 -
what resolution are you running at?
I'm surprised you had no nvidia drivers installed...I guessed nvidia card from
"O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] "RUNDLL32.EXE" NvQTwk,NvCplDaemon initialize"
so you must have had the drivers installed at some point.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
I think something went weird when the whole computer was playing up!DatabaseError wrote: »what resolution are you running at?

As far as I can see, the resolution is 800 x 600 and is 16 Bit High Colour????
Active desktop is however apparently NOT enabled????:o0 -
YAY! Because of your post I had a little look and reset the screen resolution to what I vaguely remember it was before and ALL'S WELL!!!!DatabaseError wrote: »what resolution are you running at?

Thank you, cos if you hadn't asked that question I probably wouldn't have got around to looking at the settings
.
It's SO nice for things to be back at their 'normal' size!:T0
