Im curious to know if any one has any dealings with Domestic and general services Ltd.
The reason for this is that i found i was getting charged for cover for my combi boiler (protection plan) and I have no recall of signing any documents or direct debit mandates (hope im not losing it)
Love to know if there are others who have had any dealings with this company.
I have written to them asking for copies of signed said agreements, (no reply as yet)
Thanks in advance for any replies

Im confused about this.
I used to set these plans up and have one with them myself for my washing machine (same sort of thing) and to actually set one up, you would have been asked did you want the cover and then asked for your card or direct debit details if so, and that would have been the only way to continue - without those details the screen to set up the plan cannot come up. When you bought the bolier, did you ring a number to activate the manufacturer's guarantee? Its D&G who administer these plans, and it would have been then the plan was sold.
The only other thing i can think of is that if the company you bought it form registered it themselves (some do) and gave them your details form when you bought it (very naughty indeed!!!!!!!!!!) if you're certain you didnt give anyone any details speak to the company you bought it from.

Same as Mrs Ryan here, I used to have the free cover that comes with the new goods but then had to actively contact them if I wanted the cover to continue.0

I have dealt with D&G for ages now,
There must of been some kind of either a telephone conversation with them in which you MUST of gave your bank details to them otherwise they wouldnt of been able to set it up or they may have sent you some paperwork for a extended warranty. One thing with D&G is , is because they act as underwriters for a LOT of companys for a lot of appliances such as boilers, washing machines, radios etc, you may have took out a plan with *manufacturer* of your product and willingly gave them your bank details as you had a conversation with that manufactuer etc but at the bottom would of been there logo (a small swan) and there address as they do all the paperwork side of things
Does this help at all?0
