    Try here

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=tomtom+map+usa&!!!!!googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=2389310966&ref=pd_sl_6psa632odl_b

The new Tomtom usa map is non copyable i.e you cannot copy the contents of the SD card to a blank SD card and expect the blank to work. It wont. The SD card has embedded copyright security. Earlier TT USA maps could be copied.

I bought the above item last year and it worked perfectly.

As someone else said, when you get to US give the tomtom a good length of time to wake up and realise its travelled West by a few thousand miles.

You just download the map from the TomTom site to your device. Cost is £20.
    P.S.
Cricky, just had a look. It's now £40 per sector!! Glad I got mine last year
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
