02 CONTRACT HELP

I got an O2 phone on the 100 active tarrif a few months ago, where i get 100 free minutes & 100 free txts a month, this should be doubled for the 1st 6 months, as a promotion in o2 shops. This hasn't happened for my bills, I phone up and they say they will re-calculate my bill for next month and discount it. But do they do it, no they dont.

I was looking on the O2 website, and noticed the online 100 tarrif. 100 minutes, & 500 txts a month for the same as i am paying just now. What I'd like to know is, can I change from my current tarrif to this online 100 tarrif ?

I have about 9 or 10 months left on my current contract, with the minimum 12 months, so I cant really cancel that, but is there an option of transfering the contract over from 'O2 RETAIL' to 'O2 ONLINE' ?

I tried to talk to them but all they offered was txt bolt-ons. Not really what I'm after. :(

Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers ;)

O2 Online and O2 Retail are two seperate divisions of O2 therefore its not possible to change from one to the other. I had a friend in the same position as yourself and thats what he was told.

O2 Online deal direct with the customer ie your a direct customer to O2. O2 Retail serves the shops that supply your the phone through a service provider who buy network minutes and then sell them to the customer.

    Hope this makes sense

You could get a 02 online payt sim (watch out for the free ones) and stick £10 a month and get 300 texts a month but that will mean juggling 2 sims :-/
